Edvard Munch
Edvard Munch was a Norwegian painter and print maker. In his years in school he experiments with Naturalism and Impressionism. His father gave him a little amount of money for living expenses and when Edvard got bad criticism for his work his father stopped giving him money for any art supplies. Later he stopped doing Impressionism and wanted to go deeper in his expression. Edvard munch was influenced by many famous European artists. "The Scream" is Edvard's most famous work and one of the most recognizable paintings in all art. In the picture is a man screaming but it is meant to be that nature is screaming. In his later life after recovering from being sick he did portraits of mostly women and painted farm scenes. He died in his house after his 80th birthday.
